This campsite offers a panoramic view of Kikuchi City, and the night view and sunsets are absolutely beautiful✨. It’s currently in a “pre-opening” phase (still under development), but I will give you a detailed report on its charms!

Supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, and hot springs (Onsen) are all within a 10-minute drive! Same-day reservations may be possible if space permits.

Reception & Admin Building
Check-in here at the administration building! They have started selling firewood, so it's perfect for bonfire lovers! Container houses and block houses are in preparation, but please inquire if you wish to use them.
Shower Rooms
Showers are available to freshen up after sweating. Stay comfortable during your trip.
Restrooms
The restrooms are kept clean. You can use them with peace of mind.

There is a water station on site for washing dishes and other needs.

Scenic Free Site
The entire site allows cars to enter freely! It's a prime location overlooking Kikuchi City. Spots are first-come, first-served, so find your favorite view.
Bushcraft Site (Bamboo Forest)
If you love wild camping, this is the place! Experience a more natural style of camping in the quiet bamboo forest.
Playground Area for Kids
The site features playground equipment like slides, seesaws, and swings! It's a great point that keeps children entertained.
Bonfires & Night Views
When making a bonfire, please be sure to use a fire sheet (bonfire sheet) to protect the grass. The night view from here is truly the best! It will surely be an unforgettable memory.

Kikuchi Park (Kikuchi Koen)
A park popular with families, featuring a vast lawn and large athletic playground equipment. It is also famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot with about 3,000 cherry trees blooming in spring. Let's move your body and play!
Kikuchi Tourism Center (Kikuchi Kanko Bussankan)
A center gathering fresh local specialties. Perfect for souvenir hunting. Nearby, the powerful "White Dragon" used in the Kikuchi White Dragon Festival is displayed, so don't forget to take a commemorative photo!
Hotarugaike Natural Fishing Center
Surrounded by nature, you can easily experience fishing here. You can even grill and eat the fish you catch right there with salt! It's a fun activity that connects children with food education.
Cocco Farm (Tamago-an)

My Review & Impressions
The Good Points
- The panoramic view of Kikuchi City is absolutely stunning!
- Night views and sunsets were incredibly beautiful and moving.
- Flexible usage time from sunrise to sunset is a huge plus.
- The fees are very cheap and affordable.
Points to Consider
- It’s still in the pre-opening phase, so expect further improvements!
- Payment is cash only, so be sure to prepare beforehand.
Above all, the scenery was magnificent, and we enjoyed a camp full of openness. Spending time leisurely watching the beautiful sunset in the evening and the sparkling city lights at night is exceptional. The price is also very conscientious, and it's surprising to enjoy this location at this price! It was truly a wonderful campsite, just like a "Dream Land" (Yumenokuni).
