I’ll start with the result.
“I got so warm I ended up dripping with sweat.”
The heat retention is too high; frankly, it’s not suitable for active sports where you run around! My body heat got trapped, turning it into a sauna despite mid-winter (lol).
However, it is excellent for “Warming Up.”
There is nothing better to wear during preparation exercises before your body warms up, or during waiting times on the bench.
For soccer or baseball players, think of it as an “Upper-Level Version of a Bench Coat.” For coaches and managers who watch from the outside, and for parents cheering them on, this is truly the “Optimal Solution” wear.
[Experience Talks] 3-Year-Old and 7-Year-Old: How’s the Sizing?
With this kind of wear, choosing the size is tricky, isn’t it? Often, both kids’ and adults’ versions don’t have detailed sizes and are just “Free Size.”
In our family’s case, it changed with the children’s growth like this.
👦 Younger Child (3 years old / usually size 90)

It’s quite baggy, but we make him wear it! (lol)
However, since the skirt type makes the hem too long and dangerous to step on, we always set it to “Pants Type.”
When buttoned, the hem catches nicely on shoes or ankles, so they can play or go for a walk without dragging it.
👧 Older Child (7 years old / usually size 120-130)

She grew up. Now, conversely, using the pants type leaves the lower legs exposed and cold.
So, now that she’s 7, “Skirt Type” is mainstream. She wears it with the feeling of a long vest or dress.

You want your child to sleep in a sleeping bag at camp, but you’re afraid to let them use an expensive sleeping bag because of “bedwetting”… Have you ever felt that way?
In our home, we dress them in this wear for sleeping and just drape the sleeping bag over them like a duvet.
This way, their back and stomach are warm thanks to the wear, and even if they wet the bed, the damage is limited to this wear only. Zero damage to the sleeping bag! (lol)

As the only weakness, men might find the restroom (urinal) a bit difficult as you have to hike up the hem… but the comfort more than makes up for that trouble!
